Better Burntwood Fund

The Better Burntwood Grant Scheme is a small grants programme provided by Burntwood Town Council to support local voluntary and community groups that make a positive contribution to the people of Burntwood.

Burntwood Town Council is committed to investing in grassroots organisations, helping them grow and develop to provide valuable support and opportunities for our community, and small grants of up to £500 are available.

Burntwood Town Council Student Award

In Memory of Stephen Sutton MBE

In 2015 Burntwood Town Council (BTC) launched the BTC Student Award to celebrate the life and achievements of Stephen Sutton MBE by supporting young people with aspirations and talents within our town.

Awards are available each year to young people with a talent in an area such as sports, art, academia and music, to give them a practical helping hand in reaching their goals. The Award can be used for a variety of projects including purchasing specialist equipment, extra tuition or coaching, competition fees and travel.

To be eligible to apply, applicants must be between 11-19 years of age and be a resident within Burntwood Town Council boundaries.

Applications for the award are currently closed, but will be reopening in September 2026.

Community Funding
