Vice Chair, Councillor Kathy Coe MBE, visited Ridgeway Primary and Springhill Primary to gift an Oak Sapling and a planter for the schools in celebration of King Charles’s Coronation.

Kathy spoke about meeting King Charles before he became King when she was given her MBE and showed them her medal.

On Monday June 19th – I also visited Chase Terrace Primary to gift an Oak Sapling to the school in celebration of King Charles’s coronation.  I showed the children the gift I received, when I was the same age as them, a china mug and a badge, for the coronations of King Charles mother, Queen Elizabeth in 1953..
