Following Councillor Di Evans’ visit on Friday 12 April, she said ”

“Thank you for inviting me to see how your club runs on Friday afternoon. I was delighted to attend and was fascinated to see the organisation. Your members were very welcoming towards me and their knowledge and care they have for their birds was so obvious. I certainly was not bored and was very grateful for the time your members gave to me, explaining how the birds were prepared for racing and how they are looked after. They were so quiet and healthy looking and I am so glad one of your members won the race, with such an amazing speed!  I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all every success in the future and long may your club continue”.
