Our Chair, Cllr Kathy Coe MBE has decided to formally recognise our fantastic Burntwood #LitterHeroes for all the work they do to keep our town tidy. All of them are volunteers, and work all year round to pick up litter from our streets.

Kathy said “Today I have the pleasure of announcing a Certificate of Recognition to the incredible Burntwood Litter Heroes. Your dedication to keeping our town clean and beautiful is truly inspiring. Thank you for being champions of our community spirit — Burntwood is better because of you!”

Burntwood Town Council has been pleased to support the Heroes with several grants and we are will look forward to supporting them in the future.

Cllr Darren Ennis, Leader of Burntwood Town Council said “Thank you, Burntwood Litter Heroes! Your commitment inspires us all. Let’s continue working together for a cleaner, greener Burntwood.”

As the Heroes have collected nearly 800 bags of rubbish since the start of the year, why not help lend a hand to get them to 1000! The Heroes are always looking to welcome more volunteers. Get in touch with them directly.
