Burntwood Pump Track Progress

Burntwood Town Council has been allocated £300,000 from Lichfield District Council’s Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) fund to build a pump track in Burntwood, after a local campaign driven by residents for the facility received significant support.

Cllr Darren Ennis, Leader of Burntwood Town Council said:

“The decision is a major milestone for the Burntwood Pump Track Project, with Burntwood Town Council leading delivery. The project responds directly to strong local demand, with residents and community groups consistently calling for better youth and family facilities.

This is a huge step forward. We listened to residents, built a strong case, and secured the funding. I am really pleased to see this backed. Lichfield District Council has shown strong support through funding, with Burntwood Town Council ready to deliver. The next step is finalising land arrangements with partners”.
