St John’s Community Church

The route is as follows: meeting at 1^st Chase Terrace Scout HQ (Ironstone Road, Burntwood, WS7 1LL) at 9.45am for a 10am parade start.  The parade will follow the usual route down Ironstone Road, along Cannock Road towards Sankey’s Corner and then turn up Water Street, to continue to Robinsons Corner and then turn towards St John’s Community Church whereby there will be a pause for a short service, reading of names and laying of wreaths.  The parade will continue back to 1^st Chase Terrace Scout HQ whereby refreshments will be provided.

 

Memorial Institute at Burntwood

The parade will assemble at 10am at the Burntwood Institute.  It will then march along Rugeley Road to Swan Island turning left along Lichfield Road left again into Farewell Lane, Severn Drive and returning to the Institute along Church Road.  At the Institute, a service will follow including a 2-minute silence and the laying of wreaths.  The service should finish at approximately 11.15am.

 

Chasetown

The route is as follows: Meet at Burntwood Leisure Centre at 10.10am.  March off at 10.30am.  March down the High Street to Chasetown Memorial Gardens for a service, laying of wreaths & two-minute silence at 11am.  Parade will then continue to St Anne’s Church for a service at 11.30am.
