Play in the Parks returns for the summer
Burntwood Town Council’s series of Play in the Parks events are returning for the summer holidays. Visiting parks and open spaces throughout Burntwood, families are invited to come along and enjoy a free inflatable, fairground ride (Wednesdays only), face glitter, games and activities, as well as free packed lunches for children.
Each of the events will run from 11am to 3pm on Mondays and Wednesdays between Monday 27th July and Monday 17th August.
Cllr Sue Woodward, chair of Burntwood Town Council said:
“Families across our town will be welcoming the return of the Town Council’s Play in the Parks scheme. Always very popular with children and adults alike, Play in the Parks brings our community together with support from local businesses and voluntary organisations.
Our thanks go to The Noel Sweeney Foundation, Tesco Stronger Starts, Spar, Burntwood Be a Friend, Fun Club Hub, St John’s Church, St Anne’s Church, Spark and Burntwood Memorial Community Association for their support this year.
Let’s enjoy summer 2026 together and hope that the sun shines on us.”
