Burntwood Wakes Festival

The much-loved Burntwood Wakes Festival will be returning on Saturday 19th July, 12 – 4pm at Burntwood Leisure Centre.

We can’t wait to welcome residents to this fantastic, free event and we’ll have a wide range of activities, entertainment, food and more available:

Fairground rides
Inflatables
Live music supported by T.N.T Presents
Street velodrome (LDC)
Charity and community stalls
Food vendors
Market stalls
Face painting
Petting zoo
Climbing wall
Mobile caving
Pump track equipment
Free packed lunches for children, with thanks to funding from The Noel Sweeney Foundation

“‘Burntwood Wakes is here again on Saturday 19th July at the Leisure Centre. It’s amazing that Burntwood Town Council can provide this much loved, free event year after year. I’m looking forward to enjoying the fantastic rides, community and charity stalls, petting zoo and so much more. I go every year with my children and they absolutely love it. I look forward to seeing you all there.”

“The Wakes is such an important community event and it is an opportunity to enjoy a free family day out. Therefore Burntwood Town Council is really delighted that for the first time we have been grateful to the wider community who have joined us in organising, sponsoring and enhancing the event this year.”
