Better Burntwood Fund 2022-23

The Fund is open to applications. 

Burntwood Town Council is committed to supporting local organisations that provide support to the community

The Town Council wishes to support the good work that people are doing to help themselves in these difficult times. The aim of the Better Burntwood Fund is to provide support to local grass roots activities. At present there are two types of financial support available to groups

  • A small grants scheme of up to £500 for local groups wishing to provide activities and support for their community
  • A commissioning pilot scheme which is designed to help address gaps in local information advice and guidance services (Tier 1) at the community level. The first commissions under this pilot will be announced over the next few months.

 

The Town Council will continue to provide the emergency household needs fund to help to address individual family hardship. The Stephen Sutton Educational Bursary is currently under review following limited interest in the bursary in recent years.
